But has name ". . . FirePhoneix.rar (3.26 MB) " as It's using your Bios Backup so You
are writeing back your Bios Backup Modded
About the Video Card You have to check if your MoBo has a system Muxed or Muxless . . .

http://leshcatlabs.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=62
As Disabling on Muxed your Laptop will continue to work but on Muxless It will got a Black Screen !
ow To Downgrade :
Snebob (user) suggestion . . .
Run this to downgrade:
http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...vy2113.exe
Remember to set the Option (BIOS Back Flash) in bios that
enables you to flash an older bios, before you run it.
Nop (user) suggestion . . .
I found another solution - Just in case it was ever needed.
Download the 1.14 version
http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...cn31ww.exe
Then use 7-zip to extract that .exe file, You will find a platform.ini file into that folder.
Then Look for "BIOSVFEnable=2" and replace it with "BIOSVFEnable=0", run as Administrator InsydeFlash.exe tool and go !
Verified working !
Regards
Works like a charm, thanks bro, will donate when i can soon <3, it seems like it's also latest bios unlocked, 2 questions:
1-I can't set my graphic device to dedicated/nvidia one, (Aka disabling intel and letting my laptop use nvidia) I only get two options which is UMA and Switchable graphics
2-If I updated my bios from lenovo site, would something happen?
VERY ALERTING EDIT: Now i tried to boot again into my bios and i can't, when i shut down my laptop, and try to turn it on from the nova button, it doesn't turn on, nova button is the only way i can get into bios, can you tell me how to get rid of the unlock? it must have caused this... it's weird because it worked first time..... note that it works fine when turning through the normal power button

Ok mate,
UMA = UMA means Unified Memory Architecture and the system performs the graphic function with Intel VGA only
Then Switching to other will enable nVidia but You have to know if your system is Muxed or Muxless !
Look here :

Then about the NOVO Button is an EC issue so You can do in this way . . .

Hi BDMaster, thanks for the last info with the U disk.
I did not try it out so far but found a workaround for the "Novo" button not working problem:
- Install Grub boot manager
- Flash to 1.14, so you can use the sleep bug to flash a custom bios.
- Flash to unlocked 3.03 you provided using sleep bug as described in previous posts
- Use Fn + F12 key to get into boot menu and select the grub partition for booting (flashing did reset it for me to boot into windows immediately, might be different for others)
- In Grub, select the "system setup" option. This will make the laptop reboot with some kind of flag set, entering bios immediately after booting, thus eliminating the need for the Novo key
- you will then be able to do bios changes as usual
This allows me to use the modified 3.03 bios on Lenovo Y70-70 !
Only downside is I can not use the lenovo recovery feature from power off, just launch it using windows.
For me that's totally ok compared to fiddling with the hardware
Regards
P.S. If You will update to new Original version then You will need a new Bios Mod !

Appearently the bootloader you mentioned required linux i am afraid but i managed to get everything back, and going to share solution incase someone had same issue:
1-Put your laptop on sleep, then turn it off from the power button.
2-The nova button should work, you have to enable bios flashback from bios settings
3-Now download any old lenovo bios driver, install it, then download the latest one and install it.
Now everything should be back to normal.
