Hi guys, it's my first post here so i'm sorry if this is not the right section.
I'm having an issue with an Asus K53SV laptop, it simply shuts down every 30 minutes straight to the seconds. It doesn't matter which OS i'm on, it shuts down even sitting on the BIOS. Always 30 minutes straight. When i reboot the counter seems to reset. Already did all the possible hardware troubleshooting, everything is fine. It really seems a BIOS issue and i already tried reflashing it with different versions, from the older to the newest.
From what i've red it seems that it could be an issue with Intel Anti Theft Protection but i don't have any options on the BIOS for that.
I've ran out of ideas and any help with be much appreciated. The laptop is already out of warranty and an expensive repair is not an option so i'm open to try anything because it's unusable.
ps. also i can't seem to install the Intel Management Engine drivers that are on the Asus support page, it strangely returns an error no matter what.
