[REQUEST] Lenovo Y50-70 (9ECNxxWW) BIOS Unlock
Have You disabled Video Card ?
Try this . . .

Littleman

The latest Discovery about Recover Bios after a Black Screen for Video Card :

The simplest solution worked!
For future reference, the trick was to find the right combo of keys:

F2 to boot into BIOS then F9 - ENTER - F10 - ENTER

1. F2 go to Bios
2. F9 follwed by + Enter Key
3. F10 follwed by + Enter Key

Let me know
Regards

I was wondering if there is a way to unlock the refresh rate on my Lenovo Y50 UHD Touch from 48hz to 60 hz and also to just to use the the geforce 860 as my main gpu. Thank you. Also the results.rar had some errors and shut down while it was doing its thing. I hope it still got what you needed.

Hello I'm new to BIOS Modding and I've read a lot on the forums here I have a gaming laptop It's a Lenovo Y50-70 the UHD model (the one with a 4k monitor) I'm currently running the latest BIOS from Lenovo which is 3.03 and I believe I have what it take to mod it. I'm curious BDMaster you said

"We will flash Bios Mod v.3.03 over v.1.13 or 1.14 to Unlock Eeprom Chip so
You will get the EC Code v1.14 and Bios Code v.3.03 but doesn't matter !
So Downgrade before use Bios Mod v.3.03 . . . "

So in the end will i be running a modded version of Lenovo's v3.03 BIOS? Or will I have to downgrade and then upgrade back to v3.03(or just take it of of the BIOS setting backflash?)

Oh and just thought I'd add this to this thread the Lenovo Y50-70 UHD is MUX-less the Intel graphics chip is for the display and the Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M (4GB) does all the hard work rendering. TIP: The way I fully utilize the potential of the GTX 860M is
#1 I'm running Drive v355.98 (355.98-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe) the new ones mess with my GTX chip and make it crash.
#2 I went into the Nvidia Control Panel (not GeForce Experience) and tap on the tab "Set PhysX Configuration" I changed this from "Auto-select" to "GeForce GTX 860M".
#3 Stay in the Nvidia Control Panel go to "Manage 3D settings" there I tapped where it says "Preferred graphics processor" I set it to "High-performance NVIDIA processor". Now these setting worked well for me but I can't guarantee them for anyone else. What they do is make sure the GTX 860M does the hard work all the time.

Thanks for the files! It worked fine no problems after I did the sleep bug I shut it down and hit the small button that give you boot options and from there I booted into the BIOS. After I restarted I double checked it and the button didn't seem to work I'm fine with this as long as there's another way to get to those options. Do you know another way to get to the boot menu options? Maybe a combo of keys or one of the F keys. Thanks for you help!
