Thanks, I saw that there was a special section but it was after I posted this so I didn't want to repeat the post.

Hi I have a Lenovo V570 with bios version 44CN36WW and an intel 6150 wimax card. I want to put in a dual band card that is wimax and widi compatible that will work like the 6250. Please post a link to modded bios that will allow me to upgrade my wireless card. All links to a working one in previous threads are disabled. Thanks

So I know this is an older laptop, but there was a working solution posted from a couple years ago on dropbox that is no longer working. I can't be the only one with this laptop trying to put a dual band card in? If anyone had a modded bios that will allow me to use a dual band card I would appreciate an link or feedback as to obtaining it.
Also ehow listed these instructions to disable the whitelist check
1. Turn on your computer and press "F1" to enter the BIOS screen.
2. Use the arrow or "Tab" keys to scroll to the "Select the "Deactivate LAN Card" option and select it. This disables the wireless card during startup, so the computer won't perform a whitelist check.
3. Reboot the system; it starts up without the whitelist check.

Can anyone comment on this? It seems like it will just disable the wifi card no matter what card I put in. If it was this easy then no need to mod the bios in the 1st place. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hello everybody.
I have Lenovo V570c and I try to change wifi adapter to intel wimax 6250 and install 3G modem ericsson f3507g.
I found this forum and it helped me to install new wifi adapter then I flashed modded bios 44CN43WW_NWL_DOS_ByCamiloml, but
then I installed 3G modem and boot stopped with "104-Unsupported WWAN network device detected."
In that thread https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-L...334?page=2 BDMaster helped.
Could anyone help me to remove wwan boot blocking?
Thanks.
