[REQUEST] Lenovo Y50-70 (9ECNxxWW) BIOS Unlock
unfortunately my laptop is totally broken I believe,it doesn't recognize my hard disk nor boot information, took it to a service place, they can reprogram the bios, but this will avoid the warranty,I could make it boot if I had the bios password.

Sorry for taking your time.

Edit:tried to boot from pxe but failed, secure boot is enabled and doesn't let me boot from anything.

FYI, I flashed the latest bios update from lenovo website recently (Dec 2015)
Using BACKUP_Tools12.exe @ Win7 x64 admin I have the following results.rar :

Aida64 full text report:

Universal BIOS Backup:

I was also wondering if you can get access to the vbios, since my GTX 860m has a locked core/voltage/mem bios? I couldn't extract it via gpu-z 0.8.6, nor nvflash --save Sad. I read somewhere, that the vbios is somehow integrated to the main bios and it doesn't live on the gpu itself if thats gonna help.

@BDMaster Pls make my day  Rolleyes

Wow, BDMaster - you already have me surprised Smile. I saw that there are 3 bios files for GK107 (btw gpu-z says the chipset is GM107?). What I'm interested in overall is:
-being able to clock the cpu a bit further (from 4700hq to 4720hq - +200mhz)
-being able to play with the gpu with higher core / mem / volt values, cuz nvidia inspector limits me to just +135 on core etc.
Thanks!

Then mate,
Use the tools included to modify the version You have in use on your laptop
28846B5E-D603-4194-9D9C-D23783D98B00_1790.ROM . . .
You can check looking the Bios Version into the Modules comparing the
GPUZ and Module version . . .

Then when You are sure to flash that modify upload the Module 28846B5E-D603-4194-9D9C-D23783D98B00_1790.ROM
modified here and I will replace into your Bios backup preparing the Bios mod for You !
I think It could be a right solution for You so any issue will be to your responsability !
Let me know
Regards

Hi, i want to ask you for a perma bios mod for my laptop lenovo y50-70 (GTX 860M 4 GB).
I want unlock graphics card overclocking core clock more than default. I am overclocking it with MSI afterburn or NvidiaInspector, but default its locked for max +135 mhz core clock and i want overlock it more. Memory overlocking is ok, but core clock is locked. And i want use MSI afterburner or Nvidia Inspector for overclocking (not perma lock core clock), because its save to control it, if its possible to do it like this.

I saw on internet similar perma mod for asus with same graphic.

Is this possible?

PS: I am new in bios modding. btw sorry for my bad english, but i hope you understand me.

My backup bios: https://www.sendspace.com/file/mv9nqo

Thank you in advance for your help.
Merry Christmas,
Paklic

I don't know, what you exactly want from me. I am new in bios modding.
I did backup bios with Universal Bios Backup and i uploaded it for you (https://www.sendspace.com/file/puugth).
I dont know, how to make from it vBios module.

This is screen from my GPU-Z:

I found vBios here (https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...#pid106441) with same bios version, but its not from my bios.
