Hi!
So it's been a while and I modified the BIOS. I think it's correct, but I am not able to flash it. I tried the following three methods:
1. Flash it using H2OFFT-Wx64.exe: it reboots and then gives me the error: InsydeH2O Secure Flash Error: Invalid Firmware Image.
2. Crisis Recovery Method: I tried booting into Crisis Recovery Mode (removing battery and AC, plug in Usb storage with BIOS-Image, press and hold Fn+Esc, plug in AC, press Powerbutton, release Fn+Esc). While I got into the mode, it never copied the Image. I know it has to have a certain name, but I don't know which one, so I tried the following: Z5WAL.fd, Z5WALx64.fd, isflash.bin and A5WAM.fd, but none of them worked for me.
3. Using FPT (http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads...post915084): I dumped the bios region, modified the dump accordingly and tried to flash it back, but I got an error, that my rom is write protected.
I don't know how to go on from here except from buying an HW SPI-Programer. But I am not going to do / try that.
Anyway you can find the modified Bios-Image here, in case you want try flashing it: https://www.sendspace.com/file/f238b5
I propably won't try anything anymore, but I wish you good luck. Maybe you will get to work.
Regards
