[REQUEST] Acer Aspire One D250-1146
#1
I need the ability to over clock CPU, GPU and anything else useful.
Running windows 7 Ultimate / Ubuntu / Lubuntu x86 versions.

Using stock 1.29 version but its limited. I have a new heat sink/plate being made with actual fins based off the original plate dimensions.
Going to get a new fan as well to aid with cooling. The GPU apparently is locked at 133 from 400, I have software I can load once in OS
to unlock it but its not permanent and limited.

Original BIOS with pictures are attached.
1x 2GB 667MHz

I'm willing to donate to site/user for their time/effort permitted its allowed.

Specs:
PROCESSOR / CHIPSET
Intel Atom N280(1.66GHz)/Mobile Intel 945GSE Express
RAM
1x 2GB 667MHz

Thanks. do you know if there sa way to force 800Mhz ram at all?
I was hard wiring a blue tooth dongle into the case and long story short broke my monitor cable.
Soldering the wires works but when ever you move display it changes colours so I know its broken real bad.

New cable will be here in a month till then I can flash and test bios with an external monitor and if the
flash goes bad I can always boot from usb and recover to the old one from what I've read.

It's been a bit but the new cable for the lcd screen came in plus i did a few mods.
I've been busy setting up a linux partition but I had some time and went back to try this bios update.
Soon as i flashed it on all seemed well I noticed the new power tab but made no changes.
Tried to boot linux and windows and linux just crashes and windows bsod's with 0x0000005.
Had to flash back to stock for now but any reason as to why this didn't work?
