Hello,
I have noticed there is not a lot of info on here for toshiba laptops. I am trying to hook up an external GPU dock via the mini PCIE slot(removed the wifi card). It is the EXP GDC BEAST. The video card i am using is a Radeon R7 360. Power supply is an EV3A 430 watt. When i try to start up with the video card powered up, the laptop will not post. Just a black screen. If I power up the video card after the laptop has started, Windows 10 will not recognize it and the fans wont start on the card. I have done some research and found that the bios may be white-listed. Is this correct? I have spent over 200 bucks on the parts to do this and am really bummed that this is not working.
The bios info i have is:
APTIO setup utility 2010 american megatrends running bios version 2.80.
The Laptop is a Toshiba satellite P755-S5390 P/N PSAY1U-03VV027.
Can anyone please give me some advice to this issue. I believe it is a bios issue but am not sure.
Thanks
