Make/Model: Toshiba Satelite a505-s6035 (psat9u-00m001)
bios Insyde 1.40, 8/31/2010 - http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/support/downloads/sat6v140.exe
Really its sort of a science project. I of course want to change the PCIe wireless care to something more up to date.
I have switched around different ram modules, and even though it came with 1066 - the i7-720qm can support 1333mhz, and seems to without problems.
I have a rPGA988 processor and ive found better ones with limited power differential for cheap, I kind of want to try a PCIe SSD for funsies, and also I have the Nvidia Geforce GT-330m ( Device ID: 0x0A29 | Vendor ID: 0x10DE ) currently, and wanted to see if there were options on grabbing a better one that's more power efficient, or something cool. You know, cause science? But I don't know what Toshibas white list has or doesn't have since ive never found a copy of any compatibility lists, so if anyone has links that would be just fine.
Perhaps this could all be avoided, but I cant seem to find the whitelists for this machine anywhere, so the next logical step is to get rid of the crap! You know, for science.
