Sorry, didn't see the link on my LG G4 Smile

I am at the office, will check later tonight or tomorrow and let you know..

Can you check with the memory, it will neither boot with the i5 430M nor the i7 920XM.

Doesn't matter wether I use one or two modules, 8GB or 16GB, I can open up BIOS but it will restart on boot...

Thanks again Big Grin

Maximum memory capacity for these CPU is 8 Gb for two channels (4+4), so I think you can't use 8Gb modules.

It should still boot and run though ?

My friend has the same laptop with 8+8gb, but it has CL8 og CL9 IIRC...

Guess i will have to buy 4+4 Vengeance chips then Smile

Don't know what bios he is running, but he has two Kingston ValueRAM 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 SODIMM..

I kind of don't want to scrap these chips as i've just bought them and unpacked them, brand new...

i will confirm the mod as soon as i come home, was called out for field work and will not be physically near the CPU until Friday at the first...

Looking forward to see if this will work, already traded my memory for 2x4 8GB and this is working perfect, while i'm waiting to get back home could you add a menu for GPU settings, not looking to overclock but it would be nice to be able to add memory, currently only has 512MB on display.

Thanks again in advance.

Thought it was GPU, but seems it is CPU, that is working overtime...

Also seems 65W is bit high draw, since it states it is a 55W chip...

Thanks again, got to go home from work today, and will leave again on wednesday...
