[Request] Fujitsu Lifebook S7210
#1
Hi, when i open my bios with phoenix bios editor, under advanced menu there is an option called advanced chipset control, but when i go to the bios, the option isn't there. I would like to know, if it it possible to mod the bios, so the option would show there.
Bios file is in the attachment.

Hello krpet25 and Jedrek,

It appears that there is a lot to unlock in this BIOS image. I will take a go at it later today.

Hello!

The BIOS mod is complete! This BIOS required quite the difficult mod. I couldn't unhide the Advanced Chipset Control Menu using the normal method, so I instead took the INTEL Menu inside it and put it directly under the Advanced Menu. I also reorganized some of the Advanced Menu so that the individual settings previously under Advanced Chipset Control would show up there. Since I couldn't verify if the INTEL Menu would hide itself (for the same reason as the Advanced Chipset Control Menu), I also made the INTEL Menu its own top level parent menu (like Advanced). If your BIOS setup screen doesn't render properly, this is why. This should not be an issue, but if it is, just let me know and I'll fix it.

One setting I've never seen before is "Graphics Core Render Clock". I've never seen that directly configurable in a BIOS before. You can set it to values 266MHz, 333MHz, 400MHz, 500MHz, and 667MHz. I imagine this applies to an integrated GPU.

Please please please post the results of the BIOS flash!

READ FIRST:
Quote:Please remember to take proper precautions when flashing your BIOS. Even if the BIOS image is safe, the flashing process can still fail. Make sure that [if applicable] your notebook is fully charged (100%), that the power adapter is properly connected, and that the chance of a power outage occurring is as minimal as possible. Do not interrupt the flashing process. If possible, it is good practice to have a working CRISIS recovery disk handy when flashing your BIOS. Use the flashing instructions for your particular computer brand. DO NOT DO ANYTHING UNNECESSARY!!!

I finally figured out how to do all this, but the command prompt install ended with aborting and a message "corrupt or missing files".
