[REQUEST] Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 13 (6ZETxxWW) Whitelist Removal
#11
(09-20-2014, 11:43 AM)ChilliBeef Wrote: I need help. I cannot find anything on this forum (with valid links) nor anywhere else on the internet to cute my Error 1802 code.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge Type 0197-27U and it's irritating to not find one WiFi card that works. I have 4 and none seem to make it happy, regardless that 3 of them came out of fairly new Lenovo ThinkPads.

Anyways, this is all that I have, I'm new to this and don't know what information (or files) I need to provide.

Manufacturer : Lenovo
Motherboard Model : Thinkpad Edge Type 0197-27U
Bios Version: 1.24 (6ZET37WW)
Bios Date: 2011-06-15
Bios Type : Absolutely no idea

Attempting to install an Intel WiFi Link 5100 card to no avail. I really would appreciate any help that someone can give me.

Hi,

I cannot use that file, it constantly comes up with an error "7-Zip: Unsupported Method".

I have WinRAR installed and 7-Zip installed, doesn't change a thing.

I did not try that method, I only double-clicked on the package you gave me. I tried that method you listed and it worked. I put a WiFi card in and it booted without issue. Thanks!
