Hello, Andrew!
Bad news!!It seems you need HW SPi Programmer to flash mod.
Set your laptop to suspended mode and wake up it after few seconds.
Then run tool again and look at result100.png. Red text still here??

Please,do not post requests me in PM.Bios modding is very dangerous work.If i provide you confirmed modded bios, please donate for my dangerous work https://goo.gl/98BgtO.Thank you!

Hello,

Suspend is the same as hibernate?  Assuming so.

Ran hibernate, turned on after 10 seconds, ran tool and still red.  Bad luck.

Thanks,

Andrew

I'm having problems with BIOS regarding fans (power on/off randomly) and due to lack of updates that causes the laptop to shutdown randomly.
My actual BIOS is this: https://support1.support.emea.dynabook.c...095705.zip

Can anybody update and unlock it?

Thanks.

Not comments in 5 days... it's not possible to do that in this quite old BIOS?

Please help me, I don't want to discard my old laptop due to this. It's hard to work in it with random shutdowns due to fan failures and Windows 10 incompatibilities.

Do what? Isn't this a request to fix the device for you?
I can only do simple tasks like bios menus unlock. But I have no idea about the situation with your cooling fans. Why do you think this is happening?

Hello,

I think the BIOS has any wrong configuration regarding temperature and fan handling. Maybe it think's that the temperature it's too high and force the fans to go at 100% when it's not true, or the opposite, when I notice that the device is quite hot the fans are not going at 10-20% speed.

I don't know if in a laptop BIOS fan functions are configurable or not, in workstation motherboards they are.

Also I would like to know if it's possible to upgrade CPU microcodes or embedded drivers

Thanks.

First of all, we need to know if it is possible to perform an easy installation of a modified BIOS. Use BACKUP_Tools20.
I don't know if fans are really can be configured by BIOS, but it does have the necessary settings. Also, 4 microcodes, 1 GOP and 2 network OROMS can be updated.
