Hello,
I installed Window 7 64 bit onto my daughter's Toshiba Satellite A200-1C5 laptop (Model PSAECE-01200SIT)just to enable it to use a Wacom Intuos Art graphic tablet. Everything is all right with the exception of the ram installed, as are recognized 4GB installed but 3GB available (1 GB ram is kept by the System for the Hardware). That is due, if I am right, to the fact that the BIOS (Phoenix brand, Toshiba Vendor, serial no. 47315065K, ver. V 1.30, firmware ver. 1.48, BIOS date: 03/26/2007, lacks the option Memory Remap, notwithstanding the Chipset supports that option. I'd like, then, to enable the System to use all the ram available. Maybe there is an upgraded or a modded BIOS that can do that. Is there? Or my problem has no solution? Best Regards
