To all requesters:
At this time I can add new wlan card to whitelist only.
As you can see, whitelist is not disabled.
Hi Da Vinci Code,
I'm still looking to add my Wi-Fi card to the whitelist, or to disable the whitelist altogether. If you can do one of these things, I'd be extremely grateful.
The wlan card I'd like to get whitelisted is the Atheros AR5BH92. I'm not sure if you need the VID/PID, but if you do, please let me know. I could try and find those for you (I currently do not know them).
A backup of my BIOS can be found here. I've tried some stuff myself, but to no avail, since I ran into the "No BCPs error" on the Phoenix BIOS Editor. It's a Lenovo B590 BIOS.
Could you please help me? Thanks!

Hi Da Vinci Code,
Thanks for your reply!
I have made a new backup of my BIOS (using the Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit). Please use this image and not the older one.
The VID/PID of the stock and new WiFi-card are as follows.
Quote:Stock Wi-Fi card
Broadcom BCM43XX
VID: 14E4
PID: 4727
Please refer to this image
Quote:New Wi-Fi card
Qualcomm Atheros AR928X
VID: 168C
PID: 002A
Please refer to this image
I will certainly make a donation if I get everything up and running!
Could you also please let me know how to flash the new image to my BIOS? And what to do if I happen to brick something? Thanks in advance!
