Forget about the 1.40 rollback, it really isn't necessary anymore. This is the new bios version 1.42 we've all been asking for in this thread/forum. Myself and others have confirmed it working. Just make sure after you flashed and rebooted, go into your bios to reset your settings or else it won't boot. Go to that link to download the bios files, and follow that thread will show you what you need to set in your bios.

Everything works fine for me without an issue so far. The physical volume and mute buttons work perfectly for me. I would check drivers or bios settings. I'm running Windows 10, but I highly doubted it makes any differences.

Its working with my X220 using an Intel 7260ac card and an Ericsson H5321gw.
Cant test the RAM speed as I have 1333Mhz RAM at the moment. Menus are unlocked to allow the selection of 1866Mhz RAM though.
Thanks so much Rambler, Is it need any special config' to make Intel 7260 ac and Ericsson H5321gw works properly?, e.g. Bluetooth?

Only one of the two mini pcie has usb functionality, so depending on where you put the intel or ericsson card will depend on how these cards work.
For instance the ericsson card needs usb for all its functions to work eg sim card slot, gps etc. The intel card also needs usb for the bluetooth component of the card to function.
I have the ericsson wwan card in the usb enabled slot and everything works fine after using the X230 windows 10 drivers.
The bluetooth functionality of the intel 7260ac doesnt work as it needs usb functionality and the slot its in doent have it. wifi works fine and seeing I have a thinkpad bluetooth module on board it doesnt bother me if the intel bluetooth works or not.

You need to install the Hotkey Features Integration drivers for these keys to work. I just use the X230 windows 10 x64 drivers.
The blue thinkvantage button has been decommissioned by lenovo for some time now, and from memory the last os to support it was windows xp.
You can remap the button to any program by making changes to the registry. Have a look here http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/...ie.171644/
