Hi nnvt,
 thanks for help.

I attachment the request file:

I modded your BIOS, I enabled all options that I could enable, the chipset tab cannot be enabled on these new skylake asus laptops yet.

First of all: I am not responsible for any damage you do to your laptop!

Requirements:
A backup of your original rom
The modified rom > Download

Installing modified rom:
  1. Make sure your laptop is plugged in
  2. Close all windows
  3. Disable your antivirus
  4. If you have windows 10, make sure no updates are pending (so it doesn't auto restart during the flash)
  5. Copy the modified rom you downloaded to the Afuwin folder
  6. Make sure that the modified rom you copied is EXACTLY 6160384 bytes
  7. Go back to the admin command prompt in your Afuwin64 folder
  8. Type "AFUWINx64.exe AllUnlocked.rom /GAN"
  9. If you get any sort of error like size mismatch, DO NOT flash the bios
  10. Press Y when prompted
  11. Restart your laptop and see if it worked

Please post your results

Hi, I have discovered this site googling for hackintosh. Thanks for your works and your guides!

I have a N552VW-FI056T laptop. The BIOS is the same of the first (asus.com) download link provided by Zilog.

But when i compare the afuwin backup Zilog took with mine, the CRC is different. Zylog's is 8A7DA2BE, mine is 001B2F0D.

Is it safe to flash the modded version of Zylog's BIOS or is better to have mine modified?

Thanks for your help!

I've  made a backup too.

The question is, can I flash the firmware that nnvt have modified for you? You have the same notebook? (N552VW-FI056T)

My backup and yours have different CRCs, so I suppose there are some differences. I want to be sure to not brick my notebook Wink

Thanks!
