Hi, am sorry to revive this old thread.
Any chance to get the last bios 7CCN62WW with whitelist removed?

As far as I have researched, I will need an EEPROM programmer (which I have).
Is it possible to flash with a clamp or making some sort of contact to the chip to prevent desoldering. I am afraid that I may ruin the computer if I try to replace/desolder the bios.

maybe somebody here can help me. i have a lenovo u330p which uses the same bios als all Ux30 models

i've found the whitelist and just have to change one byte in two modules, but when i relpace the checksummed modules and reassemble the rom i can't flash it. i get this message after reboot https://picload.org/view/raglllcc/imag0088.jpg.html

i compared the original with my modified file in a hex editor, it was massivly different, i used the tool UEFITool v0.21.5_win, same result with andy p's tool. when i reassemble the file without changing anything i get an identical file. what am i doing wrong?

It's so stupid limitation by manufacturer... I tried with the bios editor utility without any good results.
