Asus H97-Pro Gamer BIOS Flash Request

Hey Guys,

i have a Problem to Flash a modified BIOS.CAP.

Mainly I want to flash my RAM with Thaiphoon Burner, but Thaiphoon Burner says I can not do this because the hardware protection is on.

So i tried These Steps: How to patch BIOS to enable SPD Write capability on Intel 8 Series and higher Chipset Family PCH


After I have modified the bios.cap, no program lets me flash the file, either EZ Flash or AFUDOS.

I really do not know any more, can one of you help me?

Read this - [Guide] How to flash a modded ASUS/ASRock/Gigabyte AMI UEFI BIOS.
Remove capsule header and flash *.rom file by FPT(Flash Programming Tool by Intel)).

in FPT i got always the same error.

Error 201: [FPTw.exe] cannot be run on the current platform.

Please contact your vendor.

in WIN and in DOS

It only works with FPT_9.1.0.1120 under DOS, but no i become another Error

Error 25: The host CPU does not have write access to the target flash area. To enable write access for this operation you must modify the descriptor settings to give host access to this region.

But i cant Flash the Decriptor Region.bin to get Access...

But I still can not flash the SPD with Thaiphoon Bruner.

Is there a way to change host read and write access?
