[REQUEST] HP EliteBook 8560p BIOS Unlock
#21
Hello, David!
If your dGPU is dead, you need bring laptop to repair service to disable dead videochip.
This procedure called modification to UMA (requires change resistor location).
It is cheap solution in your case,if you do not want recover discrete graphics.
Servicemen know about this repair solution, however they often replace mb with new chip (remember there is another solution which described above).
Regards!

Please,do not post requests me in PM.Bios modding is very dangerous work.If i provide you confirmed modded bios, please donate for my dangerous work https://goo.gl/98BgtO.Thank you!

And can i do it by myself ? some guide is helpful for me

Thanks

I am a little confused on where to post this request, so please move it if necessary.

I have an HP Probook 4440s that has some sort of Computrace lock on it that causes pop-ups on every boot from Everest University. It is very annoying. I have read that flashing a new bios can fix this. Also, if I'm going to flash the bios, I would like to get it unlocked and get the whitelist removed for WLAN and everything else that is possible. It currently has the F.60 Bios. I understand the risks associated with these newer HP BIOS's. I am willing to use an SPI programmer or even replace the entire BIOS chip if necessary.

I have another laptop, an 8560p with the F.60 BIOS, which I made a request for here

Please advise.
