[REQUEST] HP Compaq NW8240 Whitelist Removal

im looking for a bios update or other straightforward update for download that can have the whitelist removed for the hp compaq nw8240 laptop im using. i would like to use the dell wireless 1370 mini pci card but gives the message of 104 unsupported upon boot. i was able to install the unsupported card after post before the os loaded to see what the hardware id of the card was, even though this isn't recommended to do, it worked so now i at least have more information to offer.

i have attached a picture of the original wifi card hardware id that is supported, the intel 2915 and the other one is the unsupported dell truemobile 1370 mini pci card ( sorry for pics being sidewise ) which i only got it load when installing after post while the laptop was on. let me know if there is other information that i need to give. i tried to use the knoppix method related to the eeprom, but i couldn't even get past the first part of seeing the name of the wireless card and i don't want to go back to it and use that method if there is an easier or more straightforward way to this dell wireless 1370 to work. besides, it's more risky and i don't really understand it completely.

i've attached the latest bios below which i currently have installed, i believe it is called "68DTV", google search indicates someone else got the same bios patched with the same laptop im using ( nw8240 ), however i couldn't find any patched bios or file to download and use for myself, i suppose i would need a different patched bios version anyways since the card im using is different?

bump, can someone please let me know if such bios mod can be done for the specific wifi card i want to use on this laptop and if so, when. i would not like to keep waiting forever if it isn't possible to do a bios mod. however, i know someone else used an unofficial card on their nw8240 with a patched bios created through a member here so i would assume there should also be a working bios mod that can be created specifically for the dell wireless 1370 mini pci card on the nw8240.
