I've no idea how to add to the CPU support. I don't know how the BIOS tells if the board is the 520 or 620. They're the same board but the 620 has 4 DIMM slots, a PCIe x16 slot and two more SATA ports, and supports some CPUs the 520 does not.

If the BIOS could be edited to allow all the GX620's compatible CPUs to be used with the GX520, that would help, but still won't get Core 2 support.

My mobo has the 620 bios, 'cose 520 & 620 use the same.

The connectors are different, as I remember, 620 has the PCI-E 16x built in, the 520 has not.
