I still did not mannage to get my hands on 2GB module again.

Well, it does not. It boots with 2x500Mb or 500Mb+1Gb or 500Mb+2GB combination only.
In all the cases when it does boot it shows 1GB of ram. And that's the weirdest thing.
It did not boot with 2GB+2GB too last time,
nor did it boot with 1x2GB only,
with 1x1gb no go,
with 2x1gb same shi*.
This i believe is to the fact that all my rams are 800MHz rated, not 677, but I cannot be sure. (all but 500MB)
That's why I'd like to have RAM timings control in BIOS. So I can clock the RAM manually.
