I have many HP DL120 G6 motherboards and I want to use them in desktops, but HP has the fan controller to shut down the system if it does not have the right fans. It is a 6 pin connector that controls 2 fans. I have tried jumping the PWM and RPM and even connecting it to s different fan. No luck, so I am now looking at modding the BIOS. In RW SMBIOS there is a cooling device tab and I am not comfortable changing anything and not sure what to change. CPUZ says the BIOS is HP and AIDA64 says Phoenix. I have tried using all the mods in the downloads and the only one that reads anything is RW. The BIOS file is a .AE1 or a BSS, which I am not sure what that is. Any help or if someone wants to do it for me would be greatly appreciated.
