So an update to this:
I accessed the UEFI mode though windows 10 and installed Elementary OS (a linux distro), but it tells me there is no bootable device. I have done this on a Sony Vaio a couple weeks ago and I just had to select the boot option in the bios. However, in the bios for my Acer Aspire laptop, I don't have that luxury. If anyone is able to help with my bios image, that would be amazing. Smile
