Hello everyone,
This is my first time in this page. I'm planning to put a eGPU to my laptop (EXP GDC Beast NGFF version) and I know that the WLAN port is whitelisted. Is there a way to remove this whitelist? Or bypass it?

Motherboard: 20awa13hlm
BIOS Manufacturer: Phoenix Technologies
BIOS Date: 09/13/2017
BIOS Version: GLET90WW (2.44 )

Hi, community:

I'd like to remove whitelist from latest BIOS from Lenovo T440p. I've got a clip and a CH341A SPI programmer. However there are two chips (w25q32fv and w25q64fv) on the motherboard and I can't determine which one is the bios chip, so I've dumped both images.

Please let me know which one is the bios and help me remove the whitelist.

Many thanks in advance!

Manufacturer: Lenovo
Model: T440p

Bios Type: UEFI

hello

I'd like to have the whitelist removed and the advanced menu unlocked on my T440p.

I pulled the two attached images off the w25q32fv chip with my ch341a and to my worry their chucksums are not matching after i saved them but, the programmer's software verification is telling me they're the same image after reading off the chip.
will this be an issue?
also would it be advised to update to the lasted BIOS version before flashing a modded BIOS or can it be updated later without needing to reflash the chip with a modded version? it's currently on UEFI BIOS 2.37 (GLET83WW) and the latest is 2.44 (GLET90WW). I can update and reread the BIOS chip if needed.

Thanks for the help.
