Gabiz_ro,
thank you for sharing that awesome work. I successfully flashed the bios.
But when i select "dGpu" via graphics configuration it always switch back to hybrid; it seems the value is not saved. Non Windows OS
Maybe you have any suggestion.

I've got the same issue.
G62-b10sp... Selecting iGPU or dGPU makes it always go back to Hybrid as default. (I do have Windows as my OS)
The laptop's configuration is the integrated Intel, Ironlake series, from a i5-450M (originally was an i3); and it's discrete GPU, the AMD Mobility Radeon 5470... From what I read, the iGPU-forced ones are from 6xxxM series onward, so 5xxxM series should be muxed, and allow such change, but I'm not sure.

I remember, someone on mydigitallife say something about changing product code or PCID.
But in his case was bad motherboard.
Maybe there is some version of that notebook that only use ATI gpu.
If someone could post info about that maybe will be a start point.
As any device from project to final product occurs many changes.
On mine after looking at schematics, added missing parts, added missing wires on LVDS cable and upgraded LCD to FHD one and all works fine.
That means in project stage this was designated different, then for reducing costs they stripped down to something else.
So,maybe changing PCID will do that but is fixed, once done you get only iGPU or dGPU until you use software tools to change that.

I have the same issue (maybe you saw my new topic) on HP G62 b07sl (i5 intel HD + ATI mobility radeon HD 5470).
Your bios works perfectly and i have no briks, but if i try to select iGPU to use only intel, the setting go back to Hybrid after the save.
Here is my post for guys that have this issue and wait for a solution: https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...O-3-5-f-48

For anyone who may need,BIOS is for G62, Intel i3 with ATI,original name SP55430,board id 1439,version F48.
Unlocked all menu, even added one option but all related to EFI isn't working.
Inside archive there is CryptRsa.efi (in fact is Efi shell),if you need it.
Prepare USB drive with HP tools software, rename original to something else and put that one in place.Press F2 at power on.

hi, do u think i can get this bios for my laptop? IT's a g62, board id 1439, version f48, but with i5 460m cpu and Ati 5470m (switchable graphics). thank you
Do you think you can send me a valid link? I've just bricked a G62 with Intel Dual Core cpu and ATI graphics and I wanna try to revive it. I am preparing a USB with HP Tools now, but it's love to crack the bios since I don't have a compatible wifi card.

Don't remember what stage is that upload.
If you can wait I"ll search on my old HDD (on many test file and folders to locate latest version)
-no whitelist for wifi
-unlocked all tabs
-custom settings on load defaults

Take note,EFI boot is available,EFI bootable devices are detected but except EFI shell all OS hangs.
So set EFI boot disabled and or Legacy first boot option.
Hi Gabiz_ro,
Is your bios still available somewhere for download? The posted links are no longer active.

Hello, is that possible to reupload the BIOS file? Is that the best modded BIOS out there?
I don't pretend to change the Hybrid mode to any of the other modes.
Thank you in advance

I'm also really interested in the modded bios file! Can you please re-share gabiz_ro? You are popular hereĀ
I think you already answered it but I have the G62 with only the Intel GPU (no ATI). It is all theĀ same bios I think, so that file will also work?
