Is it possible that some settings in BIOS block 920XM or Sony blocked this proc in BIOS code?

I'll try to find another machine to test this processor. But it can take several days.

hey yusosipov I've got a similar issue to yours. I installed a 720qm in an Sony VPCCW2S1E Laptop and it runs just fine. Bought a 920XM SLBLW and my Laptop won't boot with it. Green Light indicates that its running. After 30 sec the RPM ramps up to full speed. Nothing else happens unfortunately. What exactly do I have to modify to try to make it work? And did yours work eventually?
