Full Unlock request Asus PRO7BS N73SV
#1
Hello!
First i would like to greet everybody since i am new in this community.
I have some problems with the Nvidia Optimus (does not work with 3DTV Play) on my notebook and i would like to know if there would be a way to deactivate the Intel IGP and use Nvidia as Primary display adapter and since in my bios setup i dont have any Hardware Config Options except the boot priority and some passwords i would like to ask if Please somebody take a look at my BIOS ROM and please tell me if there is any chance that it could be modded and display all the hidden options in setup.

Thank you!

You're may be lucky.

Try this:

Open the bios with AMIBCP. Find the option you want to enable. Change the access/use to "user".
Then save and flash.

AMIBCP doesn't corrupt your bios (I checked with hexworkshop). So you're safe as long as you don't change anything other than the access/use.
But I don't think it's possible to disable the IGP because it is connected to your display.
The NVidia GPU is not directly connected to your display AFAIK, so disable the IGP = black screen and possibly useless system.

Thank you for your reply I did this but still no Chipset configuration visible. but i can get all the advanced Feauters intead (e.g. Overclocking)
I have tryed disabling IGPU by setting its default values with AMIBCP to disabled and restoring bios to default settings after flash and i got a blank screen no video on display outputs (LCD, HDMI, VGA) but the system was booting to windows i also heard the windows start-up sound so i made a dosboot usbstick with afudos and the original bios rom and i configured in autoexec.bat to automatically reflash my Bios and now everything is working normal.

p.s. its not a matter of bios but i think that Nvidia should improve its 3DTV Play sofware before selling it and guaranteeing that is 100% compatible with Optimus systems

Hello, i've tried to unlock my n73sv bios and managed to get a lot of hidden stuff visible by changing it to USER with AMIBCP4.55.0070 , but i can't get chipset to show and any guide i follow says that i need to find the setup in MMTool, but i can't find setup anywhere there... :c
could someone try to unlock my bios further? i need acces to certain stuff to get a external gpu running,
i'll link my latest bios that i alread worked on.
thanks! Heart

Hi. I upgraded the BIOS and got the "BIOS Black edition"))
1. Downloaded the bios N73SVAS306 and AMIBCP4.53
2. Changed the value of the Advanced/SATA Configuration:
SATA Controller (s) - USER
Serial ATA Port 0 - USER
Serial ATA Port 1 - USER
Serial ATA Port 2 - USER
3. Update BIOS
After the upgrade, the screen and the backlight of the screen, VGA-HDMI turned off. But Windows was loaded)) I got control through Radmin and restored the work.
What have I done wrong?
