[SOLVED] Modded Y50-70 Bios, forgot password!
#1
Hey there!

I've modded my Y50-70 BIOS here in 2015 (https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-u...#pid101502), but unfortunately I forgot the password and I've set Secure Boot on.

I can only successfully boot with one SSD I have, so although I can't access the BIOS, I have full Windows access to it.
I'm wondering if it would be possible to recover my current BIOS through Windows and remove the password by flashing a password-cleared one instead.

Instructions on how to do so would be very welcome, too!

Thank you for your time!

Hi
just reflash original dump

Thanks for the reply!

The Stock BIOS? Would that be safe to flash over the Modified BIOS?

I have the original BIOS (from that thread I linked). How should I reflash it? Would it clear my current set password?
And after that, would I need to mod the BIOS once again in order to flash a unlocked one?

Problem solved with the help of the great Dudu2002.
Downgraded to 1.16 and it somehow allowed me to use any password.

Thank you
