[REQUEST] Acer Aspire E5-573(G) BIOS Unlock
#61
Wink
Hi, first, forgive me for my English, it is not my native language...
I have an Acer Aspire E15 E573G-501Z notebook with the following general specifications:
- Processor: Intel Core i5-5200U.
- NVIDIA GeForce 940M with 2GB VRAM.
- Motherboard Intel Broadwell-U PCH-LP (Premium).
This is a link to the especific review of my notebock: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Acer-Aspir...740.0.html.
I have the latest version of the Acer BIOS installed, the 1.37.
I can enter in the advanced options using the Fn + Tab key combination once inside the BIOS and rebooted to enter again.
There is not de the problem... The problem is that for me the overclocking options are completely incomprehensible, jajajaja.
Normal options do not appear, as in other BIOS, where you only have to upload the FSB or the processor multiplier or something similar.
Ok, my question is if someone who has a laptop Acer of a model similar to mine has been able to decipher what to do to overclock the processor/chipset, if this point is possible, maybe not....
Thanks in advance and again sorry for my English.
Saludos!  Big Grin

Just one more question: if I can only overclock using a modified BIOS the way you've told me, what are these options that appear in the BIOS menu?

If someone could give me a tutorial on the subject or explain to me what the advanced options are for, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
