Shuttle SX58H7 & Xeon X56x0

I think this motherboard hasn't support for hexacore CPU.
It's not BIOS problem but hardware incompatibility.

i7-980X is on support list which is hexacore:

I have ordered a BIOS chip with SX58H7 Pro last BIOS to see if it might work  - it seems to have more recent ucodes (2012) and more extensive CPU support compared to mine. It could well be a hardware limitation though.

Well I force flashed the final bios for the SX58H7 Pro onto my regular SX58H7 under DOS with a boot USB stick created by Rufus, issuing:

The BIOS installed and worked ok with my i7 950 but still didn't work with the Xeon 5680, so I give up now yes it must be a hardware issue of some kind. 
I'm not even sure if it would work with a real SX58H7 Pro
