I'm using the raid-0 and the trim function seems to be working just fine.
@calestrom
I've been reading that InSpectre is not a 100% reliable check for Spectre and Meltdown.
Could you also test as described here and report back?
EDIT: I didn't see that you had 206C2 CPU. My bad.
I have already tested 206C2-1E (XEON X5690) using the above mentioned method and I confirm it is properly patched against Spectre-Meltdown.

Another Question: Is it normal with this Version not seeing the JMicron boot text?
I can roll out some test BIOS's with older NIC OROMs. I never use that feature, so I never came across it in my testing.
For others facing the VT-d compatibility issue. There is nothing I can do to update the BIOS code itself to improve compatibility. Our 1601 BETA bios only had memory compatibility updates over the 1502 (last official) BIOS. Unfortunately there was no update to the VT-d compatibility from ASUS for the R3E. I will roll out some new S20 releases with the latest (04/2018) CPU Microcode update. Hopefully that will have an impact.
I do not modify our BIOS or the OROMs. I only replace the existing OROMS with the updated ones. Zio did the same, I just follow his instructions for my work here. Any bugs that ZIO or myself introduce would be limited to the device the updated OROM is runnning, or from the CPU microcode updates. I can always roll back if I am introducing new problems with an OROM.
I'll have the latest microcode updates available for testing in a day (or less).
Hi pir8man,
i have update my BIOS to S20i_Test2.ROM
With enabled vt-d my System hangs on booting with Windows 10 and i have the same error "PXE-E01 PCI Vendor and Device IDs do not match!" on booting.
Can you roll out some test BIOS's with older NIC OROMs please?
Is my security test correct? I have use the Ashampoo Spectre Meltdown CPU Checker.
Thanks a lot for your work.

VT-d: see previous posts in thread !
It will take me a few weeks to run through the Ethernet NIC OROM revisions and test NET boot compatibility. I have a lot on my plate to do the testing. If preferred, I can just build the BIOS files and have others flash & test them. If I release to others for testing they will be private and not posted to the forum, until the results are in. PRIVATE MESSAGE me if any want to test these for us. If I don't get a PM, I will just find the time to flash/test them as I can.
EDIT: Nobody has PM'd me. SO I will do the testing on my own. new release date is 'when i get the freaking time'. lol.
Lastly, I have no idea of what a good spectre/meltdown tester app is. I dont even run windows on my R3E anymore. You will have to do your own research here.

TEST2 is still in testing. so it is up to you to jump into that or not.
... specifically which version is best for your RAID0? Well, nobody can answer, as you did not provide enough info. READ the thread and you will find the answer!
A little lost here, I downloaded the S20-TEST2.rar and see there are 3 files in it, could someone please inform me as to the difference, or what one I should use?
