I'm going to attempt this in a TL;DR manner.
This system (Sandy Bridge, i Core based, Aptio IV EFI bios) comes with AHCI disabled. Years I've patched bios as others have, now AHCI/OS X work great.... Dell even knows the system works with OS X86.
Now I have two potential goals (besides the 3rd being finding a recovery w/out unsoldering bios chip, I probably will buy a UEFI capable mainboard that works with Ozmosis/OS X86 but am considering buying a spare for this system... it looks fully capable of!)
1) Booting Windows UEFI (Windows 10 feels like it's booting UEFI mode of sorts, but states bios legacy- it went from 20+ sec boot time to 8~ randomly)
2) Booting OS X Clover Bootloader UEFI (Currently legacy only due to no UEFI boot options exposed by dell)
3) Installing Ozmosis (for booting OS X more native) into the UEFI aptio firmware.... (Last goal)
I've used MMTool, UEFITool, etc and I see that the Dell "Diagnostics" in F12 (Need to reboot to windows and get .efi filename and other logs)
I can't see "How" Dell is disabling UEFI booting of sorts (menus removed/disabled, etc) in Aptio tool I enabled AHCI for years, I see almost "no" EFI mentioning except in the "bios strings" I see sorts of
"boot from UEFI USB , etc" mentioned, but that is probably "text" strings of sorts, seems ot contain EVERY bit of text the bios can display so may just be left over from when dell modified.
I'll post the bios files of sorts and info. I enable poll for my main question...
