Hello
I would like to make a BIOS mod for my Asus k550vx, in particolar i would like a Command that i can enable, disable or Just select the GPU i want to use, or just disable the Intel one to use Nvidia.
Cause right now the laptop has Nvidia GTX 950M and integrated HD 530 Intel.
As u Can see the laptop Will use by default the integrated Intel GPU and dont let me choose to use Nvidia.
Its possibile to make a Command in the BIOS for this? Thanks i would like to help too

Hi. Can I mod The Asus F550VX (skylake laptop) bios?
I am new with bios modding so I don't really know how to do it.
This is a link with the original bios: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/X5...XAS302.zip
And also I have attached a backup made with afuwin.

I want to pass the limit of overclocking the gpu (core +135mhz) (gtx 950m). I know overclocking can damage the system but in my case it only increase 2-5 degrees the temperature. Using nvflash doesn't detect my gpu.

That has nothing to do with motherboard BIOS. That is video card vBIOS, use GPU-z to dump your cards BIOS, then find editor that works with it, then you will have to find compatible tool to flash BIOS back to card. All that is VERY dangerous on a laptop, because you cannot easily recover video BIOS like you can on a desktop by booting to another card.
Or, do you mean you have BIOS setting now for the card, in the BIOS menus? If yes, then I can look.

Show me images of your BIOS now, in a gallery. Please show all subsections in all pages/sections too.
Do you have flash programmer? You need CH341A and SOIC8 test clip cable.

OK, here is initial test BIOS for you, please be aware this will take a few tests by you at first, since there are a few ways to enable menus and I don't want to apply them all at once unnecessarily. This is to enable chipset menu section only first, if this fails then we try next method and remove this change, until we find the only method needed for Chipset to show. This way I can unlock full BIOS for you, and for graphics there is a lot of settings in chipset menu so you want to access that too. Hopefully I can get it enabled for you, but no promises!
As secondary test, included in this file also, is another method used to add "CPU Configuration" to Advanced section. Do you see this new sub-section now, if yes please add image of it's contents unless blank/empty, if empty let me know.

Reflash using same AFU you made backup with
AFU.exe backupM1.rom /P
