Hi, Flashed the bios successfully 
There are indeed other options under the security tab.
Thanks a lot. 
However I am having some troubles... (Not regarding your bios)
The motherboard doesn't detect fan speed... tried other fans to no avail.
This is causing the cpu to run on low frequency when on load (some sort of protection I guess)
Just wondering if there is any way you could help me...

If you can  ,please capture screen of unlock option .
Your laptop seems old ,so it almost can't find useful hidden option .(like:ahci)

Can't detect fan mean hardware issur or broken , i can't help you out .
