First thing, you will boot to DOS. Here is little guide I posted for someone on how to make USB boot drive. Stop at #5-6, step 7 is not for you.

Put all the files in that folder I sent you in post #19 after you follow the above link to make USB Bootable DOS drive, then boot to DOS and run command below. DO NOT run first or third command above, sorry I forgot you gave Genius239 wrong BIOS and you modified wrong BIOS before too, luckily it was never flashed to the board.

For second thing, you can do from DOS, but with these commands since you do not have windows installed. This will dump your "BIOS Region" which is what you need to modify
fpt -bios -d dumpbiosreg.bin

If that dumps OK, please upload that file for me or genius239 to modify, as I mentioned before in red text, the BIOS file you were originally using and had him modify is not the correct BIOS to flash to your board (None of the stock flashing commands use that file, and it's not same as BIOS.All or 87TDES.502, which are both used by the stock flashing methods.

Summary, do the dump above and stop there until you get new mod BIOS. You need newly modified BIOS file, based either on your dump from FPT dump above, or from the stock 87TDES.502 file, do not flash your currently modified BIOS it's not correct BIOS to use for your board and I do not know why it was included in your stock BIOS package it's not used by anything, at all and does not match the BIOS files that are used by the stock flashing commands.

While you wait, get windows installed on some test disk or something, it will make this all a lot easier. And install Intel ME drivers for your system once installed, you will need them for FPT in windows. https://mega.nz/#!PYMj0ACb!qgZRNBCeCMjmU...gYDY1ClNPg

If you want me to modify BIOS, please put in a zip file, all these BIOS images taken on stock unmodified BIOS - one showing all current visible tabs/sections, and one showing all the stock options (Sub-menu list) in advanced section, and any memory configuration pages/settings you have (This is important, because there is 3-4 sections in your BIOS that all have similar settings for memory but not exact same, and I need to see which one you currently have visible, if any)

Damm it, I feel so green when I manage to do this..
1. I ran HPUSBFW-2.18 and used USB-Boot folder to make USB DOS bootable pendrive
What should I do next? Put onto USB, files from USB-Boot or from folder you have uploaded in #19 ot either from my stock BIOS folder?
2. In DOS which command should I run? How to make BIOS images?
Sorry for the fact I'm terrible greenhorn, but it is my first meet with modifying BIOS.. Could you write me short instruction, step by step? I'm so grateful for your patience and the only thing I'd like to manage is to unlock some options which allow to really basic operations (CSM for Windows 7 for example). I don't wanto be enforced to use this [censored] W10...

It's OK, we all have to learn stuff as we go, and you know there is a million ways to do any one thing

So you did steps 1+2 already correct? If yes, then step 3 is all - 3. Manually copy from "USB Boot" folder all files and put on the root of the USB once the above program is completed (Overwrite if asked). Then put all files from post #19 into root (ie not in folders) of USB drive too.

Then at dos prompt type following to dump "BIOS Region" then upload this file to here.
fpt -bios -d dumpbiosreg.bin

For the BIOS images, your BIOS itself may be able to take image and put on USB (try pressing F12 on any BIOS page, if it asks you where to save then you know your BIOS takes screenshots, or it may auto save to USB, but you'll still see message on screen about taking screenshot or saving image etc). If that does not work, use a camera, then put all images into a zip file, with the above BIOS Region dump and upload here.

Don't be worried about being greenhorn or new to any of this, it's OK!

Ok, after performing steps which you have mentioned  I encourted some bugs. First after typing blabla dumpbiosreg.bin error has appeared:


Further typing was disabled.


In the BIOS.zip I have attached I also included pendrive root content and images taken by my camera. Unfortunately my BIOS doesn't support taking screenshoths by F-key pressing.

You're going to have to install a quick windows setup, we cannot move forward without that. You do not have to enter a key to install windows, use in trial mode and overwrite or format when we're done.

Once in windows, install the "Intel ME" drivers for your system from the driver download page, and then run this >> fptw -bios -d dumpbiosreg.bin

Or, you can test this first... I see in your package provided, Config.sys is missing, but I downloaded from the original link I gave you again to confirm. Please open config.sys on your USB DOS Stick with notepad, remove the following (lines 2-5)
dos=high,umb
files=64
buffers=32
stacks=9,256

Then put this in it's place as lines 2-3 instead, save and try in DOS again
FILES=30
BUFFERS=20

Okay. After a while I managed to install W10, and Intel ME driver from here: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26135/e...6.1194.zip . Where I should input this command fptw...? In command line it prompts that fptw is not recognized.

What's more in in control panel Intel ME Interface is available.

Great you have windows installed now!! FPTw command is ran from the folder than contains those files. Example, you have them at desktop and FPTw.exe is inside another folder on desktop. Go inside the folder on your desktop that contains the folder that has FPTw.exe inside it, select that folder that immediately contains FPTw.exe, hold shift + Right click, then choose open command prompt here. Then run command from that command prompt.

ME interface available is good, that means your ME is working, not corrupted etc. We are not concerned with Intel ME here, but those drivers needed to be installed for FPT to work properly
