A laptop was purchased. BIOS is password protected . Nobody knows this password. Is it possible to remove it?

It's $2.50 on ebay, everyone should have one they're so cheap! Get CH341A flash programmer ($2.50) and a SOIC8 test clip cable ($3.50)

Once upon a time i managed to remove the pasword protection bu short circuit the bios battery with the battery inplace and it cleatred the bios.It reacted like a clear CMOS jumper.If this does ot work you can try the programmer method.
