Nicccce! Smile Finally, we can now mod your BIOS Big Grin Give me some time, little busy tonight but will try to get done soon

Here is quick test, this is not meant to be mod BIOS, only meant to check if AMIBCP alone can enable chipset tab or other method is needed. Please flash using FPTw again, then let me know if chipset tab is now in BIOS and if yes, and there is some settings in showing please take images of all you can see in each section by default. It may all be blank, or it may not show up at all, this is only meant as quick initial test.

Flash via FPT using this command
>> FPTw.exe -bios -f CAMITest.bin

Flash succeed, but nothing more is displayed.. Chipset tab still does not exists.

Thanks for report back, I expected other method would be required, but always best to test that one first to save time. I'll keep working on this now with more involved method, will update with new test BIOS soon

I'm wondering why AmiBcp itself doesn't work?

That's common, it's usually OK for some things, other things it can't do (usually chipset is one it never will enable, unless already enabled at the root level then it will allow you to unhide the rest).
I'm sure this is probably something the board manufacturers do to try and stop us messing around in there Big Grin

Here is next quick test, I think chipset will be enabled now, but will not be populated with all settings. Goal is enabled root chipset first, then all rest of settings to be enabled are easy to do.

Unfortunatelly it didn't work.. But Genius239 also send me BIOS and his modification workoed. Maybe It's because your BIOS was too small and something connected with checksum (his BIOS weigts as much as before modifications)? http://uploadfile.pl/pokaz/1548206---s2ut.html <-- rooted BIOS with only chipset tab available and one option within. It is now possible to unlock all available options?

It didn't work, please explain, how didn't it work, what didn't work? What do you mean, flash wouldn't go or no chipset? Was there error when flashing? If yes, show me image of command window with FPT command entered at top and error shown after you tried to flash all in same cmd window image.

And BIOS size? I send you same size BIOS always, as your dump you sent me 6,144KB, same as the BIOS you just linked me to download from Genius239 edit?
All BIOS discussed and used here are same size BIOS - 6MB / 6,144KB / 6,291,456 bytes

If his BIOS works for chipset, that simply means he used other method to enable. There are many, I was doing through them one by one having you test, so not multiple used all at same time unnecessarily. So yes, if that BIOS has chipset root level enabled, we can move forward with it, easy to make all the rest visible.

Thanks Genius239! Which method did you use?

It didn't work means only, that chipset tab was still invisible. Sorry, I was mislead by .zip size which was much smaller, but the .bin file is ok. Now, after accessing root, AMIBCP works great and changing visibility from Default to USER is doing a job.

Btw. It is possible, that either after turning on CSM support, CSM isn't supported? I'm trying to install Windows 7 on Kaby Lake which hasn't got drivers for USB for this system and ACPI problems still are appearing during installing OS (ACPI compliant).

Thanks for clarification! Yes, once root level of any section is done, any missing settings within can usually be easily activated with AMIBCP by setting User for each root level sub-section, or individual settings within if they do not show up automatically

Run the BIOS though UBU, do you see orom modules, or only UEFI/EFI modules? If you see orom's then CSM should be working OK, you may need to set other BIOS settings too, such as the one where you choose Win7/Other or Win8-10, set legacy on some oprom settings (video or HDD usually)

I am not sure on ACPI stuff, sorry I don't know about that.
