So two memory slots, one soldered to board, other one user changeable? I guess, in a way, that confirms HM86, even though it's only a single slot.
Sounds like it's working better now! Once you sure, we can unlock the BIOS fully (Settings-wise) if you want, and I can look more into that audio logo stuff, I'm sure I've seen video on how to update it for other Asus boards to different audio and different non-static logo images too.

Yes, one module 4GB on board and another for memory ram upgrade.

With a teacher like you, it's normal.

Okay. I will keep you informed.

This is not very important, just that I thought something was wrong.

Soldered on memory is so terrible, always hard to find a good compatible match sometimes.
On the audio/logo, seems silly for them to give you these BIOS settings (ie not hidden like the 100's of other settings) and then not have the correct image files or audio files there, so to me I though something was broke there too. Can you enable either Active Image logo and audio on your friends and see movement and hear audio?
I think maybe you need only to enable "Fancy Start" It's a hidden BIOS option, or you may be able to see something related in Express Gate
Or, it may be left over setting they didn't disable, from other models?

I do not know, I have to try.
EDIT:
Original bios file (x550jxas.204):
https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/F550...Desk_BIOS/
I think that the installed BIOS is modified.

Okay, thanks. It is editable (can be activate) with AMIBCP?
Boot time after fresh OS installation and without any software installed (only windows default applications). It's not too bad

I saw that when the screen is turned off the fan works without stopping. I do not know, I have to check it with more details.

Installed BIOS is modified? What do you mean? Of course we modified it, lots But what are you showing in that image, those settings you showed me image and said you have visible already, correct? If not, I can make visible for you. Or yes, you can make visible, if not visible to you now set "User" in the access/Use column, then save and reflash -bios region using FPT
Screen off, fans working, do you mean sleep mode or when display turns off after certain time period? Those are all normal, depends on what power settings and or sleep settings you are using, you'd want the fan running unless it's in deep sleep mode, otherwise it can overheat.

Ohhhhhhh, you mean his is modified? If yes, what do you think was changed, and can he see moving logo and hear audio?
It's not about being careful You can adjust those settings to what you want, but don't disable fan when screen only is shut off after xx time period, since full system is still powered on.

FPTw.exe -rewrite -me -f outimage.bin
FPTw.exe -greset
If greset does not reboot the system, please shut down, unplug PSU block from the system, then remove CMOS battery if you can easily, if not it's OK. Then press and hold the power on button for 1 minute (Make sure it's 60 seconds or more). Then put it back together, CMOS battery back, plug back in, boot to BIOS and load optimal. This is not possible because with the assembled laptop I do not have access to the CMOS battery

I installed the windows 10 and it was activated correctly with the BIOS outimage.bin (is the last bios file).

It's perfect, my teacher. (9,5 - 10,5 seconds.)
