About switches, ask for the program key"/?"
Update: last time I used Afudos for mobo with AMI bios, so I need to check the recommendations from this site myself to answer the last question.

Awesome.  Good to see programs still doing this.  Cool

I found that I have the original bio flashing program from HP and it's version 8.99 of awdflash.  Any particular danger in using this version vs the 8.82 version?

Unknown information, i'm not used this version before. Prepared the USB boot disk by instruction, it gave boot in Dos.

I'll stick with the version in the instructions--don't want to have any problems when I do this.  Cool

Today i run other Dell bios update installer which unpack program afu877.exe and automatic apply two switches: /sn/E - mean no do backup, but after flashing process going to Dos. Run separately she's printed Dell 8.80, probably it is some mistake with names.

Could be slightly different to automatically update or clear the dell service tag and express service numbers.

I know there are other threads for requesting this, but they never got finished. Seams like similar boards were able to have 45nm CPUs and working. I was wanting to use this board for testing LGA775 CPUs. So I would need it to support Pentium 4, Pentium D, Pentium Dual Core, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Extreme, and Xeons. I also have some other lga775 boards that might be easier modified to support this. The board does have a Intel 946GZ Express chipset. I do get an error with the MMTOOl.exe and awdbedit.exe gives an error too but it can still read it.

BIOS from HP https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/sel...vc-67041-1

The BIOS.ROM file I attached is from the exe in the link above. I believe it is the right BIOS for this board.

Post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z with supported CPU.
Have you any suitable 45nm CPU? Tell sSpec of it. Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with it.

I attached photos from CPU-Z. I have many 65nm and 45nm lga 775 cpus right now from pentium dual core, core 2 duo, and core 2 quad. One I have been trying a lot is the e8400 (SLB9J) as I have 50+ of them. When I put a 45nm cpu in this board the fans spin and the cpu does heat up, but no video or beeps. I have other lga 775 boards that only take 45nm cpus. If they would be easier to mod to take 65nm cpus that would work too. Just looking to have one board instead of two to test lga 775 cpus. I am also working on sockets 771 and 603/604 for accepting all cpus of the socket.

I do not have much experience with modding bios and need some help to get started. I have years of experience in computer repair though.
