[REQUEST] Lenovo G560 (29CNxxWW) BIOS Unlock

Hi, did you have any sucess? I have the same g560 laptop and need to swap the CPU. My Pentium CPU burned due to the fan that stopped working. I have a new fan and can have a contact who can get me the i5 or i7 like the one you mentioned... Pls let me know. I also want to see if I can hook up a external GPU to my laptop.

Hi Guys n Gals. 

It appears that I was directed to older posts that are related to my Laptop/BIOS.

I downloaded file from the link:

Flash my BIOS but, as I was sort of expecting the version/dates to change, thought it hadn't worked, so flashed it again.

This time I studied the BIOS and realised that there were extra menus (should've taken before/after screen shots)!!

I far as I can see all looks good, be able to tell better when my 'new' add-on's are delivered....

Hi again,

looking thru' the new BIOS, I couldn't see anything in the menu where I could alter/switch on/off the on board graphics chip?

I have an 'EXP GDC' + TV + PSU + GTX960 all set up externally but, can't get laptop to see it in HDMI, but in VGA it initially sees it with this on TV screen "NVIDIA GeForce GTX960 VGA BIOS  VERSION 70.26.37.00.01  Copyright © 1996-2016  4096 ram" before it restarts again into the loop!

Any Ideas??
