[Request]Medion MS-7800 BIOS mod
#1
hello there,
i currently have a Medion MS-7800 mainboard.
I need a option to change the ram frequency, since i have 1866mhz ram but it runs on 1333mhz ( mainboard supports 1866mhz).
Also if possible overclocking options would be nice Big Grin

HI all had to join as i also have the same desktop, if someone could edit the original posted bios so we change ram timmings/speed also if we had an option for the built in apg/gpu to force on/off and also edit the size to 512mb/1024/2048 that would be fantastic,  also maybe a option for cpu speed but thats a last option, kind regards and thanks in advance Big Grin

Please attach images of all main sections of your BIOS, put in a zip please, and make sure to make visible all subsection listings within advanced. You don't have to show each subsection, just need to see the names of all the subsection links within advanced that you can see now.

Hi guys. A user called Genius239 send me a link to his modified bios file he has created for us. All credit goes to him the link is as follows https://speed4up.com/9fcnfej303la.html .
Word of warning make sure you remove your external Gpu if you have one in the pcieX16 slot and are running Windows 7/10. As I'm on 10 and once I flashed the new bios the pc had a hissy fit and started beep 3 times in a row and repeating itself. Turns out the bios had set itself to boot from a Windows 8 o/s in the bios options so I removed the Gpu booted into bios from there and set it back to boot from win7 other o/s. And set my hardrive as the 1st boot drive as new bios setup 1st boot as usb key instead. One last thing the new advanced tab in on the bottom of the 1st page. You can change ram speed , Vram for the Apu, etc however for the life of me I can't get the new advanced options to save. Trial and error time I say. So if anyone gets the Vram advanced options to save or any advanced options to save please let myself and others know what your settings are so we can save them also. Cheers again to Genius 239 for his quick reply. Will let you know if he/she comes up with a reply to how to get advanced options to save.

Maybe different mod/method is needed, since it sounds like that's not working correctly, if you want me to try too give me the images and I'll check it out for you.
