Hey there,

is there a way to remove the wlan whitelist oft the S531 ?

I´m so afraid that there are only a few no good 5GHZ wlan adapters which can be used out of th box...

Please let me know if it is possible ...ttached the result.rar

Error as Eeprom Chip Write Protected !

Error 280: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space!

So only using the Tools )SPI PGM + Clip) is possible to rewrite back the Bios Mod . . .

Hi could somebody help to remove white-list from my laptop (and if possible unlock advanced futures in bios). I am running latest bios  1.18. backup done with fpt dos utility. here are my files

Bios mod can be flashed using SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip only

Actually, that is BIOS version 1.22 and my current one is version 1.20. It would be an upgrade and not just a rewrite. Can it be done without the SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip then?
