[REQUEST] HP H-RS880-uATX (Aloe) BIOS Unlock

He guys!!

I just joined the forum and want to ask if you can unlock the bios for me
I have a Pavilion p6768c case:
- x64-based pc
- AMD Phenom™ II X4 840T Processor @ 2900 Mhz
- 8GB Ram
- BIOS Version/Date is American Megatrends Inc. 6.09, 9/7/2010

The pc came with a OEM bios with no options for OC'ing.
If you guys could unlock the bios with every option available for OC'ing,
I would be very thankfull!!

The motherboard model is H-RS880-uATX (Aloe).
I searched for the bios to provide it but had less success.

I hope the model number wil be of some use, otherwise just let me know how I can make it much more easy for you.

i have a hpe h8-1030 motherboard H-RS880-uATX (Aloe) bios ami 6.09, the prblem is that the bios that came with the pc is stock it does not have the option for overclock and the processor is AMD Phenom ii X6 1090T

would like some help with my first overclock, bios is locked, i think i need to get an option.rom and flash bios.  just want to make sure i get correct file and use correct settings and tool.

do i use the agesa v3.5.3.1 option.rom file?
will i need a mod program before/after flashed?
can someone explain memory timing?

Just realized that foxconn aloe = H-RS880-uATX and i see there are plenty of post about that. maybe i find what i need that way.

so just found this on hp website:

Clearing the CMOS settings

CAUTION:
Do not change any jumper setting while the computer is on. Damage to the motherboard can result.

This motherboard has a jumper to clear the Real Time Clock (RTC) RAM in CMOS.
In the default (normal) position the jumper is on pins 1-2.

1. Temporarily set the jumper to pins 2-3.
   
   
2. Wait 5-10 seconds and then return the jumper to pins 1-2.
   
3. On the next startup, enter BIOS setup to reset any custom BIOS settings.
   

does step 3 mean it is now unlocked and able to accept clocks and timers?

Found the bios update to v6.09, currently v5.03. do i need to update to 6.09 before i try to adjust settings?

Clearing CMOS simply removes any settings applied, resetting the BIOS to stock. After that, enter BIOS and load optimal defaults, then make any changes you need to make. None of that "unlocks" the BIOS

Your link does not lead to BIOS download, you need to link the page before that one or give the full HP model name.

So if i get the jumper pin moved properly and reset cmos according to previous instructions.  I will then be able to enter bios setup and make changes?

was on hp support chat for over an hour trying to get confirmation which jumper was to reset cmos.  never got an answer, 

i attached a photo of what i think is the correct jumper.  if anyone could verify for me

What you showed above is reset time/date, clear RTC. However, for this board it may be same as clear CMOS too. What is the other jumper beside that for?

I can enter bios, but i can not get to change clocks or timers, stuff is greyed out for me.

i was going to reset rtc then, according to instructions that should let me into bios, but not sure if i will still be unable to make clock changes.
to clear cmos on this board you remove battery, rtc move jumper.
and yes i have 6 pins, green on left(1.2)3.4 open (5.6) blue.  not sure what these are and no bios label on board next to them so hence my posting to the experts
i will try and get a photo of my current options in bios for you later today.

So the pictures from HP support came in,(post Above) and i moved the BLUE jumper over held down power button to remove static. replaced it back and turned computer on. nothing changed. clock was still at correct time.

Battery out, blue jumper moved... battery back blue jumper back. enter bios setup, still unable to adjust clocks and timers

Clearing CMOS or clearing RTC does not unlock BIOS settings, this only resets any BIOS changes you have made and resets date/time.
What you want is unlocked BIOS, this has nothing to do with clearing CMOS or RTC, or jumpers etc.

What is your goal here? You confused me with this last comment you made >> still unable to adjust clocks and timers

Are you trying to change the clock (Time)? Or are you wanting to overclock?

Do you have flash programmer to recover if failed BIOS flash? This is hardware tools, like CH341A and SOIC8 test clip cable?
You probably will need this to flash modified BIOS, usually with HP you cannot flash mod BIOS using stock tools.
