[REQUEST] Dell Alienware M17x R4 BIOS Unlock

Dear all!

I need help with unlocking of bios, i believe that the update to windows 10 has my GPU hidden, and undetected for ages. Not sure if updating it to the latest A15 would help, but my battery is dead i would not want to go buy a new battery just to get my GPU fixed though.

Hi I tried to download the link for A05 but it is not working


Just got to get my discrete graphic card detected now, currently on A14 it is not detecting my GPU

Sometimes it works, it worked twice for me tonight, but then failed 2-3 times too.

I Added PRR/PRR2 that you need to the package and rezipped it

I suggest first, before you flash, after you run PRR/PRR2, you run this command to backup the current BIOS
fpt.exe -bios -d m17xr4biosregbackup.bin

If you really want A05 instead, let me know and I will try to find for you

I've tried everything here on my Alienware 17 R4 - Service tag 3939RC2  - Every time I attempt to flash the bios I get a write protection error. Running PRR doesn't disable it. I'm curious if I'm just missing something or if my R4 is a different version than what this supports.  I'd like to unlock the bios for overclocking/temp controls.
