If you did not fix your laptop, this is a DIY cheap alternative.
No soldering needed, but you need to be able to disassemble the laptop because otherwise, the BIOS EEPROM is not so much accessible with the clips.
At least not with the clips I had available.
Attached are the driver, flash utility and pictures.
You will also need a 4096KB 01658.bin BIOS dump (which is also attached)
I had to wipe the BIOS chip as it was not allowing me to write the 01658.bin file.
Once completed, your HP should boot with stock BIOS F1B.

wow great news! thank you! i still waiting for a call fr4om technical service but i think they did nopt managed it out. i will try this solution if they cant fix it
