Hi! Working with the acbrom.exe utility on an "Award Medallion v6.0" BIOS, I manage to release its iGPU option rom and load the Plop Boot Manager option rom in the -then- freed space. Well, is this the right way to add an option rom? For instance, no vendorID and deviceID have been defined in the Plop option rom yet. However, PCI IDs are mandatory, aren't they?
Usually, (a)cbrom is used to replace an option rom with another belonging to the same device class. This is easier, because the device class and IDs are then obvious. Here, I delete the VGA module to make room, but I can't find any NET module to replace.
Can someone advise me?
