IBM NetVista

Hi.

I've come across a couple (let's say 8!) IBM NetVista Thin Clients, model N2200 (Type 8363-EXX).
I was planning to turn them all into Mini DOS/Win 3.11 or Win95 Machines, similar to what people have done with the N2800 (Type 8364) model.
Thing is, the firmware (not sure if you could call it a BIOS) on the N2200 doesn't enable one option that's present on the N2800 that makes it work as a normal PC.

Hardware-wise both are very similar to a 1995 PC. The N2200 has:

- Cyrix Low-Voltage MediaGX CPU @ 233Mhz
- 32MB of SDRAM (Upgradeable thru one slot)
- CF-Disk as the main Storage
- Video, Sound are provided by the CS5530 Companion Chipset (that normally comes with the MediaGX CPU)
- Network is a SiS900 Ethernet Chip
- 2 USB 1.1 Ports

I'm currently waiting for a programmer that is able to write\read to the SST 28SF040A \ AMD AM29F040B chips.

I was wondering if anyone knew if I programmed the BIOS with a normal motherboard that's based on the same cpu\chipset, if it'd work?
