Hello everyone.
I have my old Lenovo G500 with Celeron 2020M & HM70 Chipset mobo and SSD disc 480 GB
it's have insyde Bios, when i try to change CPU to Core i5 3320M that said "CPU not support by PCH, turn off and remove it"
Please help me with:
1)delete limit that don't give me install Core iX CPU ( if you can, if you not can it's ok)
2)Unlock all BIOS options

Your laptop is based on HM70 chipset. This chipset has well known problem and can't run i3/i5/i7 more then 30 minutes.
It can't be solved by BIOS patch. Only hub replacing will help. Or you can replace whole motherboard to new one with HM75, HM76 or HM77.

Would it be possible to disable the wifi-card whitlist and unlock the hidden functions in the setup menu for a Lenovo G500 laptop. I want to replace the wifi adapter with a Hackintosh Mojave compatible one.

At the moment only Linux and Hackintosh Mojave are installed on it.  Are there tools to dump the BIOS on either of the installed operating systems?

I just flashed the modded BIOS and everything works like a charm!

Advanced BIOS setup menus enabled and Wi-Fi whitelist disabled :-)

Hi,

Today I decided to install Linux on my Lenovo G500 and i think I've bricked it :-(
In the BIOS i have turned off internal GFX and now my G500 laptop powers on with a black display (don't even see back-lighting turning on...) :-(
I was trying to enable the AMD gpu because linux was only seeing the intel HD gpu...
I tried removing the battery and disconnected the internal CMOS battery for more than half an hour but still the same problem.
Is there something more i can try or is the laptop bricked forever now?

I can not find the BACKUP_Tools19 program on the Internet. I want to unblock the white list of Wifi Lenovo G 500, 78CN25WW (V2.03). The FPT program generates an error, and Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 seems to be undesirable. Although it worked. Please help in this matter.
